Overall Assignment Description:
The Geospatial Intelligence Standards Working Group (GWG) is a National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) forum, led by the National Center for Geospatial Intelligence Standards (NCGIS), for GEOINT standard activities, as defined in NSG Directive FM 1100, Appendix K, 6 May 2011.
The GWG participates in both the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) standards governance processes.
In the DoD, the GWG votes and manages GEOINT standards lifecycle recommendations reported to the Information Technology Standards Committee (ITSC).
The World Geodetic System and Geomatics Focus Group (WGSG) is the NSG community-based forum under the GWG that advocates for and manages the standardization of the World Geodetic System and for activities related to its implementation which enable the provision of timely, relevant, and accurate geo-referenced data and information.
The WGSG is championed by NGA's Source Foundation GEOINT group (SF).
Duties include:
Assist the GWG and NGA's Source Foundation GEOINT group (SF) in the development and maintenance of WGS and Geomatics standardization artifacts for enterprise architectures related to geospatial information including Space, World Magnetic Models, Reference Frame, Earth Gravity Model, 3D, etc.
Support the WGSG FG Lead and the GWG providing guidance as to the mandating of WGS and Geomatics standards in the DoD IT Standards Registry (DISR) and the IC Standards registry (ICSR).
Serve as consultants with NGA acquisition program offices in defining life-cycle requirements for WGS and Geomatics standards Coordinate efforts with the GWG, the WGSG FG, SFN Senior Leadership and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of domain-specific standardization artifacts (e.
g.
standards, implementation profiles, product specifications, handbooks, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instructions, and implementation guidance) Coordinate activities across FGs as applicable, and provide guidance to the NSG/ NGA with respect to implementation and compliance criteria.
Develop and support web capabilities, apps, and widgets enabling online, on-demand access of data, products, and services.
Ensure compliance to web services architecture for the NSG, NGA, DoD, IC, Federal sector, as well as international defense and civil standardization development organizations and standards setting organizations.
Incorporate program metrics, analyst progress/performance metrics, resource management, and project milestones and timelines in online capabilities where possible.

Experience:
Required:
Must have an active TS/SCI clearance (with the ability to obtain a polygraph) Bachelor's Degree and 11
years of experience (non-degreed incumbents must meet equivalency guidelines of 8 additional years of related professional experience) Demonstrated experience with Geospatial Intelligence Standards such as working groups, registry and committees.
Demonstrated experience with complex systems and data integration, middleware, ETL solutions, analytics, master data management principles, and enterprise data architecture solutions delivery.
Demonstrated experience with NGA, Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense system architecture.
Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and problem identification.
Demonstrated experience in data quality analysis, preparation, cleansing, formatting, and transformation.
Desired:
Experience with or ability to learn the use of Cornerstone and or Wordpress for WGSG FG webpage Experience with or ability to learn SharePoint administrative abilities for All Partners Access Network (APAN) Demonstrated experience with Geodesy, Selenodosy, Global Positioning System (GPS)/Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Geodetic survey, Geophysical data, Terrain data, Photogrammetry, Imagery data, and GIS.
Demonstrated experience with database design, relational model building, and practical knowledge of applicable data/information management and presentation standards to support Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliance and Business analytics.
Demonstrated experience with data modeling and use of data modeling tools such as Erwin.
Demonstrated experience with web-based collaborative platforms such as SharePoint Demonstrated experience integrating data from legacy systems.
Demonstrated experience in developing Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) and visualization tools.

$81,500.
00 - $142,600.
